A few questions

Anyone have a fave bookstore in NYC (or Boston or DC?) to which they like selling books? It's been 4? years since the paperback book store on the UWS closed and I still miss it. The Strand's book-buying policies are unhelpful in this case and I have quite a few to get rid of.
Anyone have a fave charity that works with the homeless? A comment on lj reminded me of a thanksgiving offering I need to leave. I'm thinking Housing Works - they work with the mentally ill and I'm sure some people think deliberately walking somewhere cold so you can sleep on the ground is a sign of mental illness - but I'm open to suggestions.
I have a lot of other thoughts, but I might go to work early today and do a CrossFit workout at lunch instead. It's been a long time since I could...
