I can post this now that all the other participants are at the event.

Say you were at a conference at a good hotel that serves breakfast. Which would you be more delighted to see? chocolate chip cookies or the same gojiberry muffins you had last time you saw the provider, that you exclaimed over at the time, possibly bc said provider whipped them up while you were asleep and they were fresh out of the oven.

I'm also debating between trying S-B's Speedy Nibby Cookie recipe, which requires a food processor and is heretofore untested in Kate's kitchen, or going with my usual Kit's Awesome Gingersnaps.

NB - I might still might go with the muffins, bc the cleanup is faster: even with the silpat mat, the cookie pans always seem a little greasy and they don't fit in my sink, which makes them hard to maneuver, or my dishwasher/drying rack, which makes it irriating to dry them. Same goes for the cooling racks. This is why I made endless rounds of muffins, not cookies.

Also, I'm very tired.

I would vote for the muffins, but that could be because I rarely get a good muffin.

In general, I'd vote for muffins. On the other, cookies usually keep and travel better. I'd be worried that the muffins would lose something between the time they come out of the oven in NY, and when they get to Chi-town.
