The first three questions were inspired by a poll on some random blog I hit over the summer.

[Poll #877900]

You'd never believe it, but I'm actually in a pretty good mood this morning - still haven't gone for my run, but had a phone conversation that was better than 20 runs. I'm just a little tired (and running late) this morning.

As a late-American, I think that's a little harsh.

I went with death by a thousand cuts because seriously, I would shriek over how long it was taking with no forward progress. Just get it over with and do something already! Slow disemowelment also sounds unpleasant, but at least maybe I'd pass out from the pain or something. And it's more dramatic. A crowd watching someone die by thousands of tiny cuts? Would get bored and walk away.

Crucifixion is an unbelievably slow and painful way to die. Those old Romans really knew how to stick it to you.

I mostly figured at least it was a little quiet time to myself, like being buried alive.

With all those soldiers around, casting lots for your garments, and people throwing things at you and taunting you? Not to mention when they come around to break your femurs. Nope, I'll take being buried alive.

Is the Sarah McLachlan Christmas album pretty good?

The first fifteen seconds of "The First Noel" was amazing. I was too impatient this morning to listen to an entire song on the album, but after flipping through the different tracks, I'm not very excited anymore. I prefer interesting versions of the same old songs to new-to-me carols and this wasn't it.

For me...

Buried alive and strangulation win, because I'm an asthmatic and those both simulate (and would trigger) my body's suicidal tendencies. That scares me more than pain.

Oh, and I hate people who hate people!

I don't mind non-curious people. They're rather easy to lie to. They may be boring, but that's ok.
