Animal print dress (by Nanette Lapore) with black leather belt with bow. The lesson of the day was learning to wear belts.
I bought a pair of gold corduroys by the same folks who made the jeans I love most. The fit is skintight, so with black boots, the look is very equestrian, which is extra-awesome beyond finally being able to do that look that's so popular right now, which never worked with my chunky legs. I bought a black shirt & creamy tank (w/slouchy sweater) to go with it.
I also bought a long cashmere sweater and a turquoise sweater with unusual styling.
I didn't buy a ruffle neck shirt (the pattern was a little dull) or the brown wrap around sweater, although I loved the latter and sort of vaguely want to go back and buy it and another belt. oh well.
